hottest security guard ever

I've reached the point where I'm missing proper local food, especially the home-cooked Malay dishes. I definitely got to rethink a million times if I ever decide to migrate from Singapore for good. Too many things I have taken for granted while living in Singapore.

Azreena and I were craving for real Malay food so badly on Wednesday. All those instant rempahs I brought from home were not good enough to make us feel at home. They're either way too salty or sweet for our liking.

So we both decided to drop by Myeongdong to have some proper Malay food at Kampungku.

If you expect real good Malay food, then I'm sorry but you'll be disappointed. The Nasi Lemak and Tomyam soup cost about SGD12 each and the satay costs about SGD8 for 7 sticks. MOST EXPENSIVE NASI LEMAK AND SATAY WE HAVE EVER BOUGHT IN OUR LIVES.

But at least we feel a little at home after eating. The taste definitely needs to improve. The soup was a little bland, the satay's sauce tasted like sambal tumis mixed with peanut sauce.

For the price we're paying for, I think if I were to migrate to Seoul, I can only eat Malay food every 3 months once. Eating out is definitely a luxury.

Korea ain't cheap at all.

If you don't already know, I got myself injured here. I thought it was just a minor sprained ankle at first.

I really didn't wanna get myself to the hospital here. But things happened and I ended up spending time at the hospital with a guy that I didn't bother to ask his name. We talked for hours.... and we talked a lot. I mean I was stuck with him, he was the only one who could understand me well. But me being me, as usual, didn't bother to ask for his name.

I didn't wanna get my ankle casted but the doctors here insisted that I do so. I mean, just look. THE SHOE THEY GAVE ME IS IN GREEN. It doesn't match most of my outfits, like HELLO?! It was nice for the guy who was stuck with me to actually ask the doctor for a different colour but because of my small feet, I still had to wear this green ugly thingy.

The bill really shocked the shit outta me. DO NOT EVER GET SICK HERE GUYS. SO DAMN EXPENSIVE. And the worst thing to happen? My card got rejected. So that guy paid for me.

I swear, the only reason why girls all over the world are going crazy over korean guys is because they're really nice. Guys from other parts of the world, y'all got a lot of catching up to do.

Despite being injured, the stubborn me still had a lot of fun over the weekends.

I went to catch a baseball match with Lewis and his friends. Nope, I didn't go with just him like what many thought. It's amazing how close the friendships I've forged so far while I'm here. I'm definitely gonna miss them a looooooooot.

These were people who got chosen during the Kiss Time interval. I'm definitely gonna come back here with the love of my life and get myself on that screen and kiss him during Kiss Time 😂

I really gotta thank him for explaining the game to me, and actually just being nice because my ankle was hurting and he made sure he didn't leave me alone the whole time. He probably could imagine how things will be if he ever leaves me alone. I'm so accident-prone ugh

Last Friday, Azreena and I went to Boryeong Mud Festival. We are so tanned right now. I haven't been this tanned for the longest time ever.

The event is much smaller than I thought it was. But I still had fun.... and omg let me just tell you. The security guards in Korea are sooooooo good looking.

Just look at this perfection.

In Singapore, security guards are usually pakciks. Old uncles with their tummies sticking out. But here, omg HERE. The security guards are so hot?!?! Just how in the world ugh

And this is my biggest takeaway from the festival.

I was really close to C Jamm, and I got too starstrucked that I didn't even ask for a photo with him. I'm a whole different person now like can you guys believe it?!?!

Actually I'm still the same.

I still take photos with posters 😂
So hard being me, I mean... how do you choose between these 2 guys?

I also finally made it to Common Ground. It's boring, way too overrated. Really... meh. Everything that's being sold there is overpriced.

Go if you only wanna get nice photos for your Instagram.

If there's anything that close to the food back home, it's the indian food here. You can never go wrong with indian food. They can really make me feel like I'm back in Singapore whenever I eat some briyani or naan.
