Ultra Singapore, done

UMF is finally over! 🎉

I had a great time doing this event even though every part of me was scared at first. I made a lot of new friends. I learnt a lot honestly. One thing for sure, I hope one day I can have my own music festival.

You guys have no idea how proud I was walking around with this tag on.
So much effort was being put in to achieve this pass.
*kisses it with so much love*

I came for Jay Park and Hyolyn. Mostly the effort I put in is all for Jay... but I also took the chance to check out the other acts. EDM is not my thing. I do listen to a few songs but that's pretty much it. After some time, EDM makes me feel like I'm about to go way too crazy.

In fact during the festival, Nab, Daya and I felt like we were in The Purge. People walking around, half drunk and all high, some barely even have some cloth on them while waving their national flags... I swear the whole scene kinda reminds me of The Purge. But that's the way people are at music festivals. We just gotta toughen up HAHA

It was raining the night before the start of Ultra Singapore, so it was pretty muddy and I honestly thought the event is in an air-conditioned place so I was just wearing my normal Charles&Keith flats. To my horror, it was held outside of MBS. No aircon, under the scorching hot sun. With muddy ground.

I came back home with my flats all destroyed. Tried to wash and dry it, still cannot be saved. I really need new shoes now but sigh, money ain't on my side for now.

Some people who came wore slippers. They eventually slipped and fell. Their bodies all covered in mud and some couldn't even find their missing slippers. So they went home barefooted.

Note to self: If you're going to a music festival, always remember to wear a cheap (worn-out, that'll be even better) pair of shoes.

I tried to be like a DJ just now. Oh well. I will share more soon. There are so many things I wish to share. But finally I'm feeling a little sleepy after the event. So gooooooood night!

Oh, and Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all other fellow Muslims! 🌙
